Women's self-help group “Asociación de mujeres de Carabayllo corazones unidos” from Carabayllo-Lima has joined our producers. It is located in a peripheral area in the north of Lima, Peru, about 2 hours from the center.

Many single women are among the members. They have been meeting since 2012 and, in addition to the production of handicrafts, also take on psychological support and organization of a wide range of tasks for women. The group of over 100 people is divided into different production areas. Under expert guidance, the women produce, for example, costume jewelry and sewing.

The self-help group has a great desire to set up a home, similar to the women's homes in Germany, so that women can take refuge in family problems. The group receives no government support.
