Our rush basket items are made by the women's cooperative "Tejesol", which is known for the excellent quality of its products. A wide variety of products are produced, such as bowls, baskets, bags, jewelry and much more. In the Huacho region of Peru, where the basket-making craft is at home, there are many family businesses that produce the most wonderful basket work. The processing has a long tradition there, so the craftsmen can fall back on their historically transmitted knowledge. This knowledge is supplemented by further training courses in order to achieve new quality standards and new processing techniques and to be able to reorganize the marketing.
High-quality and environmentally friendly products were developed in an environment that promotes social standards and takes workers' concerns into account.
