Ocarina / Ocarina / Ucarina / Okarine. Hand-painted clay flute
Ocarinas are wind instruments (vessel flutes) made from clay, terracotta or wood. The Incas, Mayas, and Aztecs already played ocarinas. Our Ocarinas come from the workshop of Moises Manotupa from Cuzco and are made from fired clay and painted by hand.
Ocarinas are played with both hands and have a total of 6-8 holes, 2 of which are on the underside for the thumbs. There is also a small eye at the bottom, so that the Ocarina can be worn comfortably with a cord around your neck.
The Ocarinas are available in various sizes, including a mini version that even small children's hands can handle.
