This is a jewelry made of "Açaí pearls", which are made from the seeds of a Brazilian palm tree. The small, round seeds of the Açaí palm tree from the Amazon rainforest have been used as medicine by the locals for centuries because of their healing powers.

You also like to dry the seeds to color them or to use them in their natural state for the production of jewelry.

Here the pearls were processed into a highly fashionable, very current jewelry. The length of the chain corresponds to the fashionable trend. The chain can be worn twice in accordance with this trend and thus extends roughly to the navel.

Açaí is a type of palm (cabbage palm) that occurs mainly in the lower Amazon, especially in the Brazilian state of Pará. It grows up to 25 meters high.

After flowering, the plant produces three to six kilograms of fruit. These are initially red, later almost black and grow to a size of approximately 1 to 1.5 centimeters.

The Açaí palm is used to extract palm hearts. A nutritious juice (vinho) is made from the fruit and the indigenous population even uses parts of the plant for medicinal purposes.

Remove the jewelry when bathing and showering. The jewelry suffers from long contact with water.

The seeds have a very smooth surface and therefore do not take up the color when they are colored, they remain on the surface. This is why the color can come off when it comes into contact with water and color your clothes. However, if you wear the jewelry dry, nothing will happen.
