Our medicine bags are made from sheep’s wool in elaborate handcraft by the cooperative "Alma de Mujer". The craftsmen and the cooperative are working from a small island named Amantani in the Titicaca lake near Puno. Here they use different natural colours while weaving. The motives are from the mythologies of this people. At the lower end of the bag there’s three decorative tufts, and it can be hung around something with a small cord (ca. 30 cm). They are available in different variations of colours and patterns. Filled with, for example memorabilia, it becomes your personal guardian and gives courage and strength.
