Hand-painted ceramic plate
100% fair traded
Dimensions: Ø 25 cm
Single copy
This beautiful ceramic plate was made by the Moises Manotupa family of artisans, who still make their earthenware by traditional handcraft and are based in San Martin de Porres, Lima, Peru. In addition to various bell mobiles and Ocarina models, the artisan family also produces tableware. The lovingly handcrafted piece of clay was painted, burned and glazed by hand in the Pisaq pattern and will surely bring South American flair to your table or apartment! This piece is not only used as a wall plate, but could also be used as a fruit bowl, cake plate or as a supplement to one of our tea or coffee services.
Please note: Even if our craftsmen make the greatest possible effort to achieve a high quality level, we would like to point out that it is manual work. This means that our products can differ slightly in shape, color and size. We also cannot guarantee that all products are actually completely impermeable to water. We would therefore like to ask you for leniency in favor of a genuine one-of-a-kind product. Because of the elaborate decor, we recommend not to cut on the plate with a knife.
